Emanuele Vignali is a senior research engineer at BioCardioLab. He is part of the team since 2017. He obtained his PhD degree in Information Engineering at University of Pisa in 2020. He previously obtained a master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering at University of Pisa in 2016. His main research topics include ascending thoracic aorta aneurysm characterization and simulation, development of experimental test setups for fluid dynamic and biomechanical analyses, ex-vivo tissues testing, additive manufacturing for biomedical applications and multiscale mechanical constitutive models.
